The Second Annual ECS Challenge II is shaping up to be the premier event of 2012 on the northeastern regional snocross scene and is coming up this weekend at the Crete Civic Center in Plattsburgh, NY. With $7,000 purse up for grabs the Challenge has taken on a life of its own. This special high stakes non-points event will create a national event atmosphere at a regional race. This part of New York is full of snowmobile enthusiasts and race fans, thanks to ample snowfall (most years) and great trails.
The 2012 ECS Challenge is made possible by great sponsors like AMSOIL (product), Woody’s (product) and C&A Pro Skis (1 pair new skis to the winner). In addition, sled makers Arctic Cat, Polaris and Ski-doo have each put up $1,000 to the winner riding their brand. In recent weeks, several race teams from within the ECS pit area jumped in to raise the bar, including the good folks at daSilva Racing, Ingles Performance, Team Southside, Lemieux Racing, Damexco Racing, Ruggiero/Toxic Racing, and Camara Racing. ECS officials are honored to have such tremendous support from within its own ranks.
