Hard and fast racing at Eastern Nationals

The Finger Lakes Racetrack was once again invaded by snocross fans for day two of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series Eastern Nationals. The aroma of racing fuel and adrenaline filled the air as the best snocross racers in the world went bar to bar in 88 races all day and into the night. This was the weekend for speed.

While this was the fifth stop on the National circuit, it was the last stop on the tracks for Tucker Hibbert. All of his competition kept that thought in the back of their minds as each one hoped to be the racer to derail Hibbert,  before he stepped down on his own to turn his attention to motocross for the remaining 2009-2010 season.

PRO OPEN:

In the AMSOIL Pro Open final, the hole shot went to Levi LaVallee, of Longville, MN, Polaris #108, but Hibbert poured on the steam and got out front. The drivers didn’t give in and instead stepped it up and put the pressure on Hibbert.
Ross Martin of Pleasant Prairie, WI, started in the middle of the pack and battled his way up to second-place. With hard work, he focused on his lines. In front of his hometown crowd, Brett Bender of Colden, NY, Polaris #19 forged his way up from the last row to get to the third place position.
The order stayed the same and at the checkered it was win number 55 for Hibbert, Martin took second and Bender took a well-earned third. Hibbert thanked the fans for a great season and said, “I’m going to go home and sit on my couch for a while.”
SEMI PRO SUPER STOCK:
After a hard day of racing, the track was beaten down as 15 riders started out for 16 laps in the Air Force Semi Pro Super Stock #2. Mike Bauer of Owen, WI, Polaris #717 got off an awesome hole shot. Within the first two laps, riders started bumping and bobbling. The pressure was on.
Kyle Pallin of Ironwood, MI, Arctic Cat #324 grabbed a handful of throttle and didn’t let go. The most exciting race of the day was the battle between Pallin and Bauer only inches away for over half the race. Logan Christian of Fertile, MN., Arctic Cat #443 was breathing down Bauer’s neck.
The top three stayed in that order for the remainder of the race, but it was bumper to bumper, near passes and lap traffic that created the heart pounding exciting race to the checkered.
On the podium it was Pallin with a well-earned first place, Bauer in second and Christian in third.

CA Pro Skis represent at X-Games

Levi LaVallee and his white Outlaws won the Gold in the Snowmobile Knockout event which pitted riders against each other to see who could jump the farthest distance on their sleds. Levi won with a jump of 2001 inches. He also took the Bronze medal in Snowmobile Best Trick.

Justin Hoyer riding on Black XTs won the Gold in Snowmobile Freestyle.

“Monster” Mike Schultz on his Red TRX skis won Gold in the Snowmobile Snocross Adaptive.

Tucker Hibbert scored a Gold medal  with his white XTs in the Snocross Final.

Congrats to all the winners and all those with CA Pros representing everyday!!!

Shakopee ISOC National Race Recap

CA Pro Sponsored rider Mike Schultz talks about his first race on the national tour after last years crash:

I finally raced on the national tour once again, although not in the Pro class but in the Pro Plus 30 class.  ISOC approved me to race in this class even though I’m 28.  I haven’t been this excited to race snocross for quite a while.  These last few weeks have been pretty busy with practicing and getting everything prepped for Shakopee and the Winter X Games.

In the final I was the 7th guy to line up on the start and chose the inside line.  Our final was supposed to be 8 laps but do to poor weather (rain) they shortened it to 6 laps.  The flag dropped and I spun to much off the start and ended up coming around the first corner mid pack.  We almost made it a full lap and there was a pile up of sleds in the corner and I wasn’t able to avoid it.  As I came around the line on the first lap I was in 13th place and had some work to do.  I put on a charge and was feeling great working through traffic.  A few laps into it I was going to make another pass but as he got into the corner his machine stalled for some reason and I got into the back of him.  The white flag flew and I picked off one more position and as I crossed the checkers I was in fifth place.  I really wanted to get on the box but I was pretty excited about my finish after the pile up on the first lap.  I’m definitely ready to race again out in Aspen!!

In the other races Hibbert took first in the Pro Open, and another CA Pro Sponsored rider Derek Ellis took first in the Semi Pro Super Stock. A great weekend of racing overall and more wins with CA Pro Skis.

More wins for CA Pro Ski driven machines. In an amazing race for the podium during the AMSOIL Pro Open final Tim Tremblay tore up the track and knocked Tucker Hibbert off the top spot taking  first place. Riding Ski-Doo number 11 Tremblay of Ste Jeanne D’Arc, Quebec had a kicking night with two podium finishes in his first season as a pro rider.

Hibbert had a  dominating run in the Pro Super Stock final, leading the race from start to finish, but  struggled in the Pro Open final. For the first time in nearly two years, the multi-time national champion, lost a final event.

Great weekend at Hay Days!

Change is coming

and have also setup Twitter and Twellow accounts. We will keep you up to date on all the race
happenings again this coming race season so stay tuned!

We need your feedback!

Why CA Pro?

The problem with SnoX racing your little sled on the big sled track is the snow conditions are deep and soft which causes serious ski drag and speed loss. C&A Pro skis are a excellent choice for deep snow they are wider and longer then the stock skis so they give your sled more floation in deep snow which means more top speed. Bottom line if you want speed use C&A Pro skis.

ISOC News and Straight from Sweden

The Amsoil Duluth National at Spirit Mountain scheduled for this weekend have been rescheduled for December 11-13 due to unseasonably warm temps.

On a totally different note we just received this awesome ad from one of our riders overseas. Straight from Sweden! Sweet.

Racing this weekend in Duluth!

ISOC SnoCross Racing and Monster Energy Tour will be in Duluth, MN at Spirit Mountain this weekend -  December 11th-13th

Tucker sweeps Duluth. More racing this coming weekend.

Although the temps were colder than normal and the events pushed back two weeks roughly 25,000 people still
attended this years Duluth Nationals and watched Tucker Hibbert continue to win. In the Pro Open final on Sunday
Tucker took first followed by Ross Martin in 2nd place and Levi LaVallee took 3rd.

The Air Force Semi-Pro Stock 2 final was 16 laps of action-packed racing. Cody Thomsen took first place followed by Justin Broberg in second and Mike Bauer rounding out the top three in third.

This coming weekend the racing moves to the Milwaukee Mile National in Milwaukee Wisconsin – December 18-19, 2009

Hibbert takes another podium and Christian takes Semi Pro Super Stock

CA Pro sponsored Paul Thacker and his gnarly crew of fellow tricksters turned up the volume and kicked the entire show up a notch performing sick tricks and back flips — Thacker went upside-down flipping his nearly 500 pound sled three times.

Following the air show the racing continued with another win for Tucker Hibbert in the Pro Open Final. The big battle after that was for second place. Martin made a run on Bender but couldn’t quite pull it off. In the end of a fantastic race it was Hibbert in first, Bender in second and Martin in third.

In Semi Pro Super Stock the first lap found three sleds upside down on corners one and two and by the time it  was over, Logan Christian of Fertile, Minn., came in first with Kyle Pallin of Ironwood Michigan finishing second and Andrew Lieders of Colby, Wisc. #682 coming in third.
